The iMac starts up and I can connect a PC keyboard and also a bluetooth mouse, both seem to work ok. Then I installed High Sierra onto the new SSD (Samsung 850 EVO 500GB) using another machine and plugged it into the iMac, which worked. ![]() Running ASD now I get a Bluetooth Wake Error (or something like that) - I did not record the error, but can rerun the test if of use. So I used the motherboard from the failed HDD to "simulate" the temperature sensor, which resolved the missing temperature sensor problem.
